I’ve come nose-to-nose with a giraffe during an African safari. I’ve strolled along the ancient pathways of Machu Picchu and walked along the Great Wall of China. Hello! My name’s Darcy Allen, and I’d like to assist you in expertly planning your next vacation—and, hopefully, all those you take in the future.
A Little About Me & Why You’ll Like Working With Me
Travel’s in my blood! Growing up, my family owned a travel agency and, before I even knew I wanted to be a travel agent, I was off seeing the world—and gaining an appreciation for a well-planned trip. After graduating Western College of Travel Careers in 1996, I’ve held management positions with several internationally acclaimed travel companies, gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge that I put to good use when working with clients to design their trips.
In 2005, I moved from California to New Hampshire where I live with my husband and three sons on 3 beautiful acres. We have a massive vegetable garden, a budding orchard, 2 dogs and a flock of chickens for farm fresh eggs every day. As a family, we try to travel often with the goal of collecting memories and experiences rather than material goods.
For the last 15+ years, my focus has been on luxury travel working with Fortune 500 executives, athletes and winery owners as well as specializing in family vacations, honeymoons, babymoons, group travel and customized vacation planning. I regularly take training courses and, of course, I travel often, from far-flung destinations like Europe & the UK, Kenya, Peru, Australia, New Zealand to closer-to-home locations including Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico, as well as throughout the United States.
It’s extremely important to me to stay on top of travel trends, up-and-coming destinations, new builds, and renovations of treasured hotels throughout the world so I can match you with your ideal hotel, villa, cruise, or tour vacation.
