How This Process Works

Prior to our communication, you will want to already have the answers to these questions:

1. Determine your travel dates
2. Who is going with you? Are you bringing the kids?
3. What budget do you have to work with? Is it a realistic budget?
4. Does everyone have a passport?
5. What type of vacation are you looking for?  Cruise, resort, villa rental or a tailor-made itinerary to fit your specific needs?
6. Are there any special requests or needs that should be taken into account?  e.g. a room with a view, someone with mobility or health issues etc.
7. Are you celebrating a special occasion?  e.g. honeymoon, babymoon, anniversary, graduation or retirement trip etc.
8. Do you have any destinations in mind?
9. Are there any specific activities you’re looking to experience? e.g. scuba, surfing, golf, sailing, hiking etc.

Then once you’ve gotten a good idea of what you’re looking for, contact us either via the website, phone or email.  We’ll chat a bit more about your travel needs and then I’ll put together a few recommendations for you and send them via email for your review.   Once you have a proposal, review it carefully.  If you have questions, ask.  If you want to make any tweaks to the itinerary or look at alternate options, not a problem!  Once we’ve found the perfect vacation experience for you, you’ll complete the online booking form with your credit card details and your trip will be reserved for you!  It’s as easy as that.

What about service fees?

Your vacation is an investment, and we’re committed to delivering value from the very first step. Here’s what to expect regarding our planning fees.

We do not charge a planning fee for luxury cruises, guided tours, or hotel-only bookings of seven nights or longer when no additional arrangements are needed. However, for custom travel planning that includes airfare, ground transportation, curated sightseeing, or multiple destinations, a planning fee will apply. These fees typically start at $300, with the exact amount advised during your initial consultation—before any work begins. Because no two trips are the same, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

We invest significant time and expertise upfront to carefully curate your vacation, working with trusted, vetted travel partners to ensure a seamless and enriching experience. Many of the packaged options we offer—especially those that include flights, transfers, and private touring—require extensive coordination and planning. The planning fee allows us to dedicate the time needed to build a customized itinerary that reflects your unique travel style and preferences.
