As we welcome 2026, I want to pause for a moment to say thank you and to look ahead with optimism, gratitude, and excitement for the adventures still to come.
As 2025 came to a close, it felt like a natural time to reflect on where we have been and where we are going. On a personal level, last year was an incredibly difficult one. My husband bravely battled cancer and sadly lost that fight in September. I generally keep my personal and professional lives separate, but during that time it was necessary to share this chapter with some of you as I stepped away to be with my family. I am deeply grateful for the compassion, patience, and kindness so many of you extended. Your support meant more than I can adequately express.
Professionally, 2025 was also a year of tremendous growth for Travel by Darcy. I am proud to share a few milestones:
• 77% increase in sales
• 34% increase in booked trips
• 40% of bookings from valued repeat clients, many of whom I have worked with for years
• 60% of new business primarily from referrals
• 73% premium and luxury cruises and tours
• 27% tailored luxury travel
What this means for my clients is simple: highly personalized service, deep expertise in premium and luxury travel, and the confidence that comes from working with an advisor trusted by travelers year after year.
I do not actively advertise. Most new clients come to me through your referrals, with others finding Travel by Darcy organically through my local office in downtown Exeter, New Hampshire. That trust means everything to me. Thank you for choosing me to plan your travels and for recommending me so thoughtfully to your family and friends.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, I would love to work with you on your next vacation. I will be sailing on a Regent cruise from Barcelona to Istanbul this April and returning to Europe in the fall for a France river cruise.
