When I started my travel agency in 2008, I gave it a name that reflected exactly what I wanted my business to be: personal, approachable, and expert-led. Over the years, I’ve considered changing my business name to something that might include broader industry buzzwords like Cruises, Tours, or Vacations—a name that would signal everything I offer at a glance.
But I’ve stayed with Travel by Darcy, and here’s why: this business is me. I work personally with every client, designing custom dream vacations that take them across the globe. I don’t just book trips; I craft experiences tailored to each client’s unique vision, style, and preferences. For over 25 years, I’ve built my reputation on trust, expertise, and dedication.
You won’t see my face on billboards or TV commercials. My business has grown almost entirely through referrals from happy clients who trust me enough to recommend my services to their friends and family. In fact, many of my repeat clients have been with me for more than 15 years—a testament to the relationships I’ve built and the quality of the experiences I deliver.
After the challenges of the pandemic, I made a significant change: I moved my office out of my home and into a dedicated space in Exeter. It wasn’t just about creating a healthier work-life balance (though that’s certainly been a benefit). It was also about fostering connections within my local community. I love the idea of welcoming clients into my office, sitting down face-to-face to plan their next adventure, and growing relationships organically with my neighbors.
So whether you’re in New Hampshire or beyond, I’m here to guide you through every step of the travel planning process. If you’re local, I’d love to meet you in person at my Exeter office—by appointment, of course. Let’s design your next unforgettable journey together. Contact me today.
Here’s to more adventures,
