6 Sexy New Hotels

Looking for vacation inspiration? Check out this list of 6 Sexy New Hotels opening summer 2018!

Viceroy Los Cabos
Delivering modern luxury, the 104-room Viceroy Los Cabos opened in the heart of San José del Cabo on the picturesque coast of Baja California. The minimalistic design embraces the natural beauty of water throughout the resort, while incorporating unique pieces of art inspired by the local Mexican culture. Brand new to the resort are a beachfront pool and bar; a refreshed and vibrant lobby; and a state-of-the-art fitness center curated by Los Angeles-based celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak. The star of the resort’s five dining venues, the Nido Restaurant, has a latticed, nest-like structure surrounded by elevated walkways, causing it to appear to float on water. With an international ceviche menu and innovative handcrafted cocktails, Nido’s menu draws inspiration from Spain, Mexico, and Peru.

Allure Palazzi Kotor Bay Hotel by Karisma
Nestled in Montenegro’s Dobrota between the mountains and famed Kotor Bay, Allure Palazzi opens this month. Overlooking the idyllic landscape are two heated outdoor pools and a VIP Lounge Bar. Guests also have access to Kotor Bay’s only private beach, with beach cabanas and a snack bar. The five-star resort features 89 guestrooms; 10 villas with private beachfront access; and three penthouse suites, each with a balcony or terrace. Mediterranean-inspired cuisine is served at the resort’s three restaurants.

Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa
A wellness sanctuary built among the vineyards in France’s Champagne region, the property’s 16,000-square-foot spa is complete with nine treatment rooms, a eucalyptus-infused sauna, and mosaic-tiled hammam. Other amenities include an indoor and an outdoor pool flanked by chaise lounges, a yoga studio, and a fitness facility. Spread across a Modernist wing and a 19th-century Post House, each of the hotel’s 49 rooms and suites offer views of Épernay’s sprawling vineyards. Two-star Michelin chef, Jean-Denis Rieubland, heads up two dining options, a gourmet dining room, Le Royal; and a more casual, all-day restaurant, Bellevue.

Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi
This is a 112-villa resort (with beach, overwater and tented jungle villas) on the Shaviyani Atoll in North Maldives, where the atoll boasts an exclusive 1,400-acre lagoon. The site is home to a sculpture garden by underwater naturalist and artist, Jason deCaires Taylor. The Maldives’ first coral restoration project, the “coralarium” is a partially submerged metal cube with coral shaped holes that lets marine life past through. The design was inspired by objects found on the island itself; for instance, the airy restaurant has accents of rope and vintage glass balls from fishermen’s nets and an open-air bamboo bar was crafted by Balinese artisans who used no man-made materials.

Capella Ubud
Camping takes an ultra-luxurious twist at Capella Ubud in the rainforests of Bali. Located along the sacred Wos River, celebrated architect and designer, Bill Bensley, created 22 tented retreats reflecting the campsites used by the first Europeans to settle in Bali in the 1800s. Tents are outfitted with outdoor decks, indoor and outdoor showers, and private salt-water Jacuzzis. The five- star accommodations are coupled with a library, outdoor rainforest pool gym, two restaurants, and a spa.

Fauchon L’Hôtel
The first hotel by the Fauchon gourmet store is fittingly located within its original 1886 headquarters at the heart of Paris’ 8th arrondissement. The architecture of the iconic Haussmann building includes elegant moldings, parquet flooring, French-style windows, and traditional ironwork, accented with pops of pink in some of the 54 guestrooms and suites. Paying homage to the food emporium founder, Auguste Fauchon, the entire ground level is dedicated to epicurean experiences, while in-room gourmet mini bars are stocked with signature hot dishes and pastries.

About Me

I’ve come nose-to-nose with a giraffe during an African safari. I’ve strolled along the ancient pathways of Machu Picchu. I’ve honeymooned in the Australian Outback. I’ve stayed in villas, enjoyed all-inclusive vacations, and gone on cruises and escorted bus tours. Collectively, these experiences—and many, many more—add up to a pretty impressive travel resume but, more importantly, they make me a great choice for your go-to travel agent. Read More…
